Fall Back…

by on Nov.01, 2016, under Uncategorized

We’ll set our clocks back by one hour come Sunday morning.

I wonder how far we’ll have set the country back by Tuesday evening?

Things are getting better

For sure, things are not getting worse. Things are already worse. We’re beginning to uncover the magnitude of the problems. That’s better.

Look, I get it. But…

by on Oct.28, 2016, under Uncategorized

Look, I get it. Trump’s a blustery windbag, not much hung up on morals and ethics, not the sharpest crayon in the box, yada yada. Despicable, really. I have no interest in voting for him either.

But… Who in the world finds Hillary a better choice. Corruption is strong in that one. And her email server crap far outways what has jailed other lesser souls. She’s a corrupt criminal.

It frustrates me to no end that the country isn’t running straight to the Johnsons or McMullins of the world.

{LONGING}

How great would it be to reset the clock to a time when it was the little guys running the country, doing their honest best to do what’s best for their country and not their bank accounts.

It’s Over

by on Oct.17, 2016, under Uncategorized

Hillary will be the next President. Trump is toast, but he never wanted to win anyway. He’ll go home happy that his brand has more name recognition than ever before, and he can always play with his friend Hillary Clinton in DC.

The GOP has much soul-searching to do for selecting such a fraud. The Dems the same for going all in with felonious corruption. And We the People had better start getting up to speed with reality.

There is one teeny tiny chance at getting this right (or at least far better than the tea leaves are suggesting). Evan McMullin could take Utah. If folks like Gary Johnson and Mitt Romney helped make that happen, there becomes a long shot chance that the selection of a president could fall to the House. There, “all bets are off,” as they say. The bookies are suggesting at this point that Hillary’s odds are about 83%, Trump 15%, and the McMullin/House path around 2%.

The latter has happened (1801 and 1824).

I sent a little money to Evan McMullin.

Democrats chose their opponent (?)

by on Oct.09, 2016, under Uncategorized

I remember wondering if this whole Trump Thing was a set up by the Dems. Or maybe Trump was shilling for the Dems. I remember thinking if I were the Dems/Hillary, who would I want to run against.

Well, some light has been shed on that by Wikileaks. Read this article.

And with the help of the media, here we are.

McMullin for President

by on Sep.27, 2016, under Uncategorized

A few weeks ago (maybe more) I said I would be looking at Gary Johnson (Libertarian Party) for my vote. And I have been looking. Problem is, it hasn’t been looking good. Better than the other two, of course, but still bothersome.

Well, how about Evan McMullin (Independent Party)? He’s the closest thing to a Ted Cruz we’ve got going now.

If you’re still looking for a candidate, check him out: https://www.evanmcmullin.com/

Brutal Truths

by on Sep.10, 2016, under Uncategorized

Not sure who came up with this, but there are some nuggets in here. I saw these at Inc.com.

1. You’re going to die and you have no idea when.
Stop pretending that you’re invincible. Acknowledge the fact of your own mortality, and then start structuring your life in a more meaningful way.

2. Everyone you love is going to die, and you don’t know when.
This truth may be saddening at first, but it also gives you permission to make amends with past difficulties and re-establish meaningful relationships with important figures in your life.

3. Your material wealth won’t make you a better or happier person.
Even if you’re one of the lucky ones who achieves his or her materialistic dreams, money only amplifies that which was already present.

4. Your obsession with finding happiness is what prevents its attainment.
Happiness is always present in your life–it’s just a matter of connecting to it and allowing it to flow through you that’s challenging.

5. Donating money does less than donating time.
Giving your time is a way to change your perception and create a memory for yourself and others that will last forever.

6. You can’t make everyone happy, and if you try, you’ll lose yourself.
Stop trying to please, and start respecting your values, principles, and autonomy.

7. You can’t be perfect, and holding yourself to unrealistic standards creates suffering.
Many perfectionists have unrelenting inner critics that are full of so much rage and self-hate that it tears them apart inside. Fight back against that negative voice, amplify your intuition, and start challenging your unrealistic standards.

8. Your thoughts are less important than your feelings and your feelings need acknowledgment.
Intellectually thinking through your problems isn’t as helpful as expressing the feelings that create your difficulties in the first place.

9. Your actions speak louder than your words, so you need to hold yourself accountable.
Be responsible and take actions that increase positivity and love.

10. Your achievements and successes won’t matter on your death bed.
When your time has come to transition from this reality, you won’t be thinking about that raise; you’ll be thinking about the relationships you’ve made–so start acting accordingly.

11. Your talent means nothing without consistent effort and practice.
Some of the most talented people in the world never move out from their parent’s basement.

12. Now is the only time that matters, so stop wasting it by ruminating on the past or planning the future.
You can’t control the past, and you can’t predict the future, and trying to do so only removes you from the one thing you can control–the present.

13. Nobody cares how difficult your life is, and you are the author of your life’s story.
Stop looking for people to give you sympathy and start creating the life story you want to read.

14. Your words are more important than your thoughts, so start inspiring people.
Words have the power to oppress, hurt, and shame, but they also have the power to liberate and inspire–start using them more wisely.

15. Investing in yourself isn’t selfish. It’s the most worthwhile thing you can do.
You have to put on your own gas mask to save the person sitting right next to you.

16. It’s not what happens, it’s how you react that matters.
Train yourself to respond in a way that leads to better outcomes.

17. You need to improve your relationships to have lasting happiness.
Relationships have a greater impact on your wellbeing and happiness than your income or your occupation, so make sure you give your relationship the attention and work it deserves.

18. Pleasure is temporary and fleeting, so stop chasing fireworks and start building a constellation.
Don’t settle for an ego boost right now when you can delay gratification and experience deeper fulfillment.

19. Your ambition means nothing without execution–it’s time to put in the work.
If you want to change the world, then go out there and do it!

20. Time is your most valuable asset–you need to prioritize how you spend it.
You have the power and responsibility to decide what you do with the time you have, so choose wisely.

The Clinton Foundation: Pay to Play

by on Sep.09, 2016, under Uncategorized

Here’s the best description with some detail that I’ve seen on the issue of the Clinton’s running a pay-to-play scheme via their foundation:

“What Bill and Hillary Clinton did to secure their political legacy and to create a steady stream of income once Bill left the White House was to be accomplished by way of the Clinton Foundation selling access and influence via our federal government. Once Hillary was named Secretary of State the operation went into overdrive as discovered by Judicial Watch.
A company named Teneo Holdings was formed by one of Bill Clinton’s closest associates. Teneo is a worldwide company that “collaborates to solve crucial reputational, transformational and capital markets issues”. They hire people who know people from throughout the world who need favors. With Bill Clinton serving as the honorary Chairman of Teneo (a paid position) the group arranged beneficial contacts via Huma Abedin who simultaneously worked for Teneo, the Clinton Foundation, and Hillary Clinton in her capacity as Secretary of State!
The purposely scrubbed emails, which Hillary claimed were personal, boring and mundane were anything but. The emails, once they were discovered, prove the links between Hillary, Huma, the Clinton Foundation and the numerous individuals and foreign governments who donated tens of millions in order to get access via this global pay to play scheme. The list of donors with “reputational issues” included dictators and war lords, as well as, crony capitalists from both here and abroad.”

Andy Caldwell (COLAB) posted this on his Facebook page today.

Giving Away the Internet

by on Sep.09, 2016, under Uncategorized

Oh, you’ve not heard of this? That’s understandable given the cover that the media provides leftist stuff in general and Obama in particular.

“The Obama administration is pushing through a radical proposal to take control of Internet domains and instead give it to an international organization, ICANN, that includes 162 foreign countries. If that proposal goes through, countries like Russia, China, and Iran could be able to censor speech on the Internet, including here in the U.S. by blocking access to sites they don’t like.” Ted Cruz

It takes effect this October 1st.
